The Coolwater
With its spectacular hilltop location overlooking pretty Kamala Village, mountains, jungle and the Andaman Sea, The Coolwater estate comprises six strikingly designed buildings offering both serenity and style. Set amidst lush and verdant landscaping, villas are very contemporary; aluminum, steel and whitewashed concrete have been used in the construction whilst floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors open onto private infinity-edged swimming pools boasting fantastic views. Villas have three or four cosy bedrooms, a fully equipped western kitchen, a dining room and lounge as well as an elevated sundeck beside the custom designed pool.
The Coolwater villas offer comfort with style, and luxury in harmony with a breathtaking landscape that you get to see much of from the villas and will soon wish to get out and explore. The grounds are managed with environmental awareness and much care has been taken to preserve the mature trees and vegetation. Certainly from the scenic decks of most of the villas it feels just as though you are in the treetops, majestically overlooking everything around you. Inside, the villas are cosy and offer you plenty of privacy, whether as a family or group of friends. The addition of a children’s pool in one of the villas offer peace of mind for parents as do the on-call services of a baby sitter.
The quiet village of Kamala is only a few minutes walk down the hillside, and with its wide, sloping beach lapped by the turquoise Andaman Sea is perfect for swimming if you want a change from your private pool. Located on the west coast, this is the best place for witnessing the panorama of magnificent blushing sunsets, best enjoyed from your private deck beside your private pool with a refreshing drink in hand. Midnight margaritas, under the glow of a million stars are a must!

Facilities Each villa has three or four bedrooms, AC and ceiling fans, a private swimming pool and a dining room with lounge as well as a fully equipped western kitchen with cutlery, crockery and glassware. Satellite TV, CD player, DVD/VCD player and ADSL or Wireless internet connection. Linen provided. Baby cots and extra beds available.
Amenities There is a daily maid service and laundry service, 24 hour security, car/motorbike rental and parking. A chef and baby sitter are available on request.
Activities Swimming, sightseeing, water sports, island hopping, spa treatments nearby, golf nearby, diving nearby. Kamala Village has a range of fine western and local restaurants, good bakeries and coffee shops.
