Krabi offers one of Thailand’s most beautiful coastlines and derives its name from a local tree known as “Lumphi”. Located on the Andaman side of Thailand, dramatic vertical limestone outcrops jut perpendicular from the land and off the coastline. A magnet for rock climbers, Krabi’s cliffs are punctuated with many caves, complete with stalagmites and stalactites. Some caves also contain prehistoric rock paintings.

Krabi is the ideal base from which to explore over 130 islands that lie off its coastline, to enjoy pristine white, sandy beaches, to swim, snorkel and dive, to kayak or to sail.
